IMECO is an ISO certified company with an integrated management system fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001. We are committed to provide our clients the highest standard of services and products, and operating all our facilities and projects in a safe, efficient manner in compliance with all applicable environmental, safety and health laws, rules and regulations.

IMECO continuously ensures implementation of our established strategic goals and the evaluation of all aspects of our services in order to provide an ongoing assurance that the best possible services will be offered to our clients and the broader community. Our fundamental business strategy is building long-term client relationships and nurturing them. Working for their satisfaction and fulfilling their requirements is of paramount importance to us.

IMECO is a member of the British Safety Council and has won HSE awards and several appreciation letters from ADNOC group of companies for the excellence in HSE management. Health and Safety at IMECO is all about knowing, believing and living it. It is more than just policies and procedures. It’s an instilled value in everything we do: be it at work on-site or our offices. Our steadfast belief in safety is moving us closer and closer to our overall organizational goal of Zero Incidents.

Sustainability is a high priority for IMECO. Operating in an environmental friendly manner and using limited resources sparingly is a matter of course for us. We are dedicated to actively supporting the environment and responding to social and economic concerns. It is our objective to identify the environmental impact of all projects and activities early on and to keep this to a minimum. We strive to move beyond compliance with laws and regulations, approaching ethical issues proactively.

QHSE Policy

IMECO is an ISO certified company engaged in the business of General Contracting, Civil, Electro-Mechanical & Instrumentation, Landscaping/ Irrigation Contracting, General Maintenance, Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas Fields and Facilities Services.

It is the policy of International Mechanical & Electrical Company (IMECO) to operate an effective QHSE Management System (Integrated Management System) in accordance with the requirements of International Standards of ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO-45001:2018 as well as committed to comply with all Legal and other requirements including OSHAD-SF, Department of Urban Planning and Municipalities (DPM) and client Policy and procedures. The policy is aimed to be appropriate to its purpose and context of IMECO and supports its strategic direction.

In order to achieve this, we are committed to:-

• Provide our customers and clients with reliable services and products which perform to meet their expectations and conform to all their requirements. This is achieved through optimum use of financial, human and other resources and employing processes, materials and products that avoid/reduce or control pollution for a sustainable living.

• Eliminate hazards and reduce HSE Risks and to provide safe and healthy working conditions to prevent work related injury and ill health of employees, subcontractors, visitors and public and also to protect the environment including prevention of environmental pollution by the HSE Risk Management for all the activities conducted by our employees.

• Provide framework for developing and periodically reviewing the QHSE Policy, Objectives and Targets to meet changing situations.

• Fulfill the compliance obligations and satisfy the applicable requirements related to QHSE.

• Hold our organization, subcontractors and suppliers accountable for adhering to the Company's Quality, Health, Safety and the Environmental policy which shall be continuously communicated, monitored and reviewed through Management Review Meetings.

• Achieve continual improvement in QHSE Management System through effective preventive means, education, auditing, training, consultation and participation of workers, constant monitoring, evaluation, reward, recognition program and review.

• Provide the customer and/or his representative reasonable access to our facilities and documents to ascertain that the services and products being provided are to the agreed /defined contractual requirements and standards.

• Ensure the QHSE Policy is available to relevant interested parties and general public on demand.

• Communicate to staff and persons doing work under the organization’s control, customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities and other interested parties to promote positive QHSE Culture.
